Over the week we will be exploring how setting and the environment not only relates to character, tone, plot, genre and theme, but also are as a prompt in itself. Landscape and a sense of place can be as animate and integral to a story as the characters themselves. Through discussion, reference to short stories and novel extracts, as well as creative writing exercises, Sigri’s unique scenery and atmosphere will inspire you and immerse you and your reader in the world of your story.
